The solid back on this sofa allows you to free-float this sofa within a room, while maintaining a luxurious presence. A battery pack is available for purchase for those of you that do not want a cord showing. (If you will be using this sofa against a wall, then the traditional cord and outlet combination will provide the most consistent power.) A power-activated articulating headrest is another option that you can add to prop up your head for tv viewing or reading when in the full recline position.
